Pumpkin carving

Our pumpkins are ready for the big day. IP painted his special white pumpkin orange. Why I asked? "Because pumpkins are supposed to be orange Mommy."

Monarch rescue

We celebrated Grammi's 60th birthday over the weekend and spent Monday with her at the Johnson Space Center - NASA. I didn't have my camera, but hope to get photos of IP and the Saturn rocket posted later from the disposable camera I purchased. He actually prefers the Saturn rocket and Apollo capsule to the Space Shuttle. Tuesday, we drove home and rescued some cold Monarchs we found at Buckee's in Giddings, Texas. One survived the drive home and is living in our butterfly house.

Pumpkin Patch in Houston

Thought it would be cute to dress the cousins alike since neither has a sibling. I'm sure they'll hate us for it later. :)

Dinosaurs in Houston

Before the big race on Saturday, IP and I visited the Houston Natural Science Museum to pay our regards to Big Al the allosaurus. IP met a T-Rex as well.
