Soccer Squad - Winter 2010

IP started indoor soccer this winter on the Squad team. At his very first game, IP scored the only goal for his team. Unfortunately, he hasn't scored again. IP doesn't seem to mind as he enjoys running around the field like a crazy man. JH,our neighbor, is also on the same team and is enjoying the camaraderie.

Do boys just naturally know how to pose for a sport photo? I did NOT teach him the mean guy pose. :)

Capitol of Texas Zoo

Grandma, IP and I went to the zoo near Bastrop on MLK Day. The peach cockatoo took a liking to IP. "I love you!" Then IP started a conversation and introduced Grandma, Mommy and himself to the bird. Yack, yack, yack.... maybe the bird did understand what IP was talking about.

Happy New Year!

After a long nap on New Year's Eve, IP and I lit fireworks in the front yard. Afterwards, we drove to a little party and celebrated with the Thieles and new German friends. As costumes were required, IP dressed as the King Rat from the Nutcracker.

The next day, we drove to Grandma's house and met the Thieles there for a yummy New Year's Day feast.
