Ready for some baseball?

While Grandpa was here on Sunday, he told IP that we would go to the toy store to pick out a gift for his birthday. After much deliberation and tough decision making on the part of our big 4 year old, IP chose a baseball pitching toy. The two hit balls in the dark until dinner was ready. IPseems to have a natural talent and says he has not played baseball before. Hmmm... I'm going to ask his teachers this week if they play T-ball at recess.

Monday, Nana drove back through Austin on her way to Dallas after visiting Great Uncle Gary. Nana surprised IP at school when she made an unscheduled pick up and IP enjoyed showing Nana his classroom and school. IP and Nana spent the rest of the day in the park enjoying batting practice with the new pitching toy. IP actually hit some balls Nana pitched by hand. We may need to look for a peewee baseball team soon!
