Christmas in Austin

We celebrated Christmas in town with Grandma, Nana, Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Kara. On Christmas Eve, we ate Grandma's famous shrimp etoufee at her house and opened our presents. We all enjoyed IP's ant farm. In one photo, you'll see Nana protesting as IP screams "Ants in your pants, Nana!" As usual, IP received too many gifts and was overwhelmed in the wrappings and trimmings. Nana spent the night at Grandma's and the rest of us went home. Santa visited IP that night and left him another shield and sword along with a Sleeping Beauty action figure set. We now have three swords and two shields, so all of us are beating one another and laughing hysterically. Christmas morning, Dad made blueberry scones for breakfast and then we enjoyed a prime rib lunch at our house. The rest of the afternoon we lazed around watching movies and playing with our toys. IP is also pictured with his bath crayons from J an K looking very impressed with his work. IP and I were sick the day after Christmas and IP started antibiotics for his sinus infection. We had to delay our trip to Pop's house for a few days.

ld go for some of Grandma's etouffee. I sure love etouffee! I love the picture of IP surrounded by gifts, wrappings and ribbons. Total chaos is what it's all about.
