IP and I went to the mall last night to select a custom box of Godiva chocolates for Nana and Grandma since they will be at our house this year for Christmas. My step-father always gave my mom and me our own box of Godivas every Christmas. Even though we don't miss him, we miss the Godivas. Therefore, I intend to make the custom box of Godivas IP's little Christmas tradition for Grandma. IP stuck his little face on the glass and pointed to each chocolate. After a few selections, IP started giving explanations as to why he was picking certain chocolates over others. "I picked the heart one because they are special." The store clerks melted and gooshed all over him. Of course, I melted too. I promised one chocolate for him to eat when he was done filling the boxes. He had such a hard time picking just one. The young clerks felt sorry for him, so they gave him a freebie on top of the one he selected for himself. Then, he changed his mind and wanted to return the open oyster for a marzipan heart. I guess he wanted the heart because he was feeling "special" too.

that's a cute story. I like that tradition.
I agree about not missing him, but continuing the tradition. I remember you would sometimes share one of the yummies! Krista
